Loonar Landing
In June 2023, I had the opportunity to paint two murals in Northern Minnesota. Loonar Landing celebrates the loon — Minnesota’s state bird — and was created in collaboration with one of my oldest friends, Maggie Langford. The project felt both nostalgic and grounding, rooted reverence for the Northwoods.
Bear Witness
Directly across the street from 'Loonar Landing' stands 'Bear Witness', a mural featuring vivid blue bears. This piece was a solo endeavor, completed shortly after the loon project — a continuation of the same wild spirit, approached independently.
